Cleaner air for Californian island

The S&C Electric Company has recently completed a case study on the impact of a project the company undertook for Southern California Edison on Catalina Island, California.

According to S&C, installing its 1MW PureWave storage management system significantly decreased nitrogen oxide emissions by allowing the island’s diesel generators to run more efficiently. For more details of the project, take a look at the complete case study.
