Liquid air energy storage discussion

On May 9 a new report on the merits of liquid air as an energy vector will be launched, and its implications discussed, at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London. The possibilities of liquid air have been actively promoted by Highview Power Storage and others, receiving excited media coverage earlier in the year. And now we will have the opportunity to see if the arguments stack up.

The event will start at 9am and will cover practical applications, including power, transport and markets, featuring speakers including Prof Richard Williams, of the University of Birmingham, and David Strahan, the editor of the report. The entrance fee is GBP£195.40.
